Biological Sciences Scholars Program is available at the University of Michigan for the recruitment of Junior and Tenure-Track Faculty members.

The University of Michigan announces junior and tenure-track faculty recruitment for the recently expanded Biological Sciences Scholars Program (BSSP). The aim is to enhance the institution's strengths in biosciences research across the breadth of the University.
The Biological Sciences Scholars Program emphasizes candidates' in-depth and strategic evaluation and dedicated funds to augment recruitment start-up packages.
Qualifications/Requirements
1. A Ph.D., MD, or other terminal degrees with at least two years of postdoc research experience and an impactful publication record
2. The candidate should not have previously held a tenure-track faculty position.
Selection and Tasks:
1. Candidates are evaluated based on their excellent scientific accomplishments and scholarly promise.
2. Candidates are expected to establish a novel, vigorous, externally-funded research program.
3. Candidates are also expected to become scientific leaders in their respective disciplines and for participating in the department´s program and activities, including teaching at the medical, graduate, and/or undergraduate levels.

Candidates should apply to the Scholars Program through the BSSP website (see below). An updated curriculum vitae (including a bibliography), a unique three-page research plan, and an NIH or NSF Biosketch, along with three original letters of support should be submitted through the BSSP website (link given at the end of the post).
